Photography has been a passion of mine for quite some time. I started my photography journey back in high school, taking senior portraits for students in my class who couldn't afford to hire a professional photographer. When I got to college, I set my camera aside to focus on the transition. My junior year, I picked it up again, offering to shoot friends and family. Although I booked weddings prior to this, it wasn't until April 2017 that I booked and shot a wedding I am absolutely proud of. From there, I decided to dedicate myself to growing my business. At that time, I was Jasmine Kyla Photography. I shot several engagement sessions and booked a number of weddings for 2018, teach myself the basics. I realized that this would be a great opportunity for an applied leadership experience. My photography business lacked organization; thus, I have dedicated this ALE to becoming "official." By that I mean becoming an LLC, creating a budget, designing business cards, and so on. In January of 2018, Jasmine Kyla Photography became Wild Jasmine Photography. I have booked a number of weddings, became part of a wonderful collective called Wedding Pioneer, and have been featured on a number of pages. There is so much to do, but it has been an exciting journey thus far, and I am looking forward to what's in store.
